Today i installed windows 8 Release Preview in my computer and connected my live account with it which was having a password of more than 16 characters. Everything was working fine until i restarted my computer. After the restart i found that i am not able to log in to windows 8 with my live account.
Then i realized that the giant company, Microsoft, has not yet fixed the bug which was originally found in windows 8 consumer preview. It is really very shameful to have a bug like this for such a big company. I don't know why they didn't removed it in release preview although it was already discovered in consumer preview.
However you can still log in to windows 8 with the same account. If your password is longer than 16 characters then use only the first 16 characters of your password to log in.
For example: If your windows live password is 123456789abcdefghijk then to log in to windows 8 type 123456789abcdefg
I hope they will remove this bug in the commercial version of windows 8 which is expected to be launched during the fourth quarter of this year. If you find any other bug or error then feel free to post it here.
