Boost your Internet Speed with this tweak

We all are interested in increasing our internet speed by any amount so today i am going to tell you about a simple tweak you can use to get the maximum speed which your ISP is actually providing you. By changing the DNS servers we are using with the right one, we can actually increase our speed to some extent. Let's boost our internet speed.

Tweak:

- Firstly test you internet speed using speedtest.net so that you can check whether it really increased or not.
- Now download a small and freeware open source software named "namebench" from here. (Choose the software from the list according to what operating system you are using.)
- Now run the application which you just downloaded.
- Click on Start Benchmark.

- Now wait for sometime till it completes checking for the best DNS servers to use.
- Now a new web page will automatically open up showing you the various details.
- From the top right corner copy the Primary and Secondary server (the top two recommended).

- Now you just have to put these DNS servers in your network settings. If you do not know how to change DNS server then windows 7 users can visit this and put the two DNS servers we copied.
- Now again go to speedtest.net to check your internet speed.

Note:

- It works will all operating systems.
- It might not make a measurable change in the speed of your internet.
- It will only accelerate your browsing speed because it boosts the speed at which the url's are converted into their respective ip addresses.
